What was that like for both of Them? Both God and Jesus Christ had to suffer, in order for mankind to have the opportunity of redemption and eternal salvation. Have you ever lost a loved one to death? Many people on earth have died horrible, cruel and gruesome deaths. However, knowing in-advance, that His only Son would suffer the extreme cruelties of demonic men, who were so jealous of the daily increasing popularity and wisdom of a supposedly unlearned man, who claimed to be the Son of God, drove them by choice to deliberately humiliate, beat, whip, torture and, very painfully murder the Son of God.

Even so, there is much Good News! Jesus willingly decided to leave Heaven and come to Earth, knowing in advance what He would have to endure. Both God and Jesus loved you and me, so very much, that God allowed His Son, Jesus to suffer all of the cruelties of the Roman Cross in order that we humans could have a second opportunity for eternal life.
