Through the Guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can have daily communion with Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. And, only through Jesus Christ can we have immediate access to God, our Heavenly Father.
Please realize that God, is the perfect Father to each and every one of us, no matter what your earthly father was like. God loves us in a way that surpasses all human understanding. Hopefully, you will learn that you can truly trust the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ and God, our heavenly Father.
The Disciples of Jesus asked Him to teach them how to pray:
Matthew 6:9-13King James Version (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The Bible, also, tells us that Jesus prays for each of us. In the name of Jesus, we can pray to God about anything and everything. Remember, God is Love and God loves you very much. Also, remember to ask according to God's will. God knows you and all of the people and circumstances involved for many years ahead of time. Therefore, God's answers to your prayers will be within that context. He will answer every prayer of yours while not wanting you to be hurt in the long range of things.
God's answer to your prayers may be...yes, no, not now, not ever, at the right time, or in a manner you might never expect. God wants the very best for you, therefore, His answer may not be what you expect, but He will not keep anything from you that is for your own good.
The more you pray to God, the more you will realize that your building a prayer relationship with God is far better than your talking with a very very dear friend as God wants only the very best for you throughout your entire lifetime.
God, also, made a sacrifice in letting His one and only Son come to this earth, while both of them knew in advance all the pain and suffering Jesus would experience. And yet, They both agreed to this because of the great love that they both have for you.
